Partner Manufacturing General Guidelines

This document is designed to provide general guidelines for potential Partner Manufacturing opportunities and to address Frequently Asked Questions with potential Partners.

• Credit Approval Process
  • No Product Development will commence until such time as prospective Partner’s credit has been approved.
  • This is typically a five business day process.
• Minimum Order Quantities, PRODUCTION
  • Production MOQs, using STANDARD YARNS, are 2400 pairs per style / 12,000 units on first PO / up to 5 different styles/colors with a different quantity of sizing - (ex. S -100 M-500 L-500 XL-100).
• Custom Yarn Minimum Order Quantities
  • This varies by type of yarn (Merino Wool; Cotton; Organic Cotton; etc.)
  • Partners are responsible for these yarns either by using ALL of the custom yarn within a period of six months or by purchasing the remaining unused yarn.
• Sample Lead Times
  • Time of year is critical to determining this, as September – January are the busiest Product Development months, so lead times may stretch a bit.
  • Lead times for samples are, generally speaking, as follows:
    • Initial CADs: 3-4 weeks
    • Proto 1 based on approved CADs: 3-4 weeks (using available yarns…not necessarily correct colors. This is pattern approval sample)
    • Proto 2 based on approved Proto 1: 4-6 weeks (using correct yarn colors….custom colors may take longer depending upon times from yarn suppliers.)
• Production Lead Times
  • Generally speaking, from receipt of Purchase Order to X-factory ship date, lead time is 13 weeks for Standard Yarn Palette.
    • This could vary if custom yarns are involved, as lead times for custom yarns vary
